Fundación Centro Cultural Guanín, Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization, registered in USA, Canada, Switzerland and Germany, located in La Piedra, Dominican Republic, that helps young people to discover, develop, and achieve their full potential as adults, citizens, and leaders. We serve our community in 6 different goals and pyramid. A) Education, B) Community Healthcare, C) Infrastructure, D) Gender Equality, E) Economic Opportunity, F) Community development.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment where youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, develop confidence, and cultivate skills for life in the Dominican-Haitian community. We aim to run inclusive, sustainable programs for children and youth in the Dominican Republic that can be replicated throughout impoverished global communities.

EDUCATIONAL CENTER
At Guanin, we are dedicated to providing our children with the best possible learning experiences. A Day Care for kids from 45 days to 2 years old, Pre-school, from 2-5 years old and Therapy Clinic for stimulation. The Centro Educativo Bilingüe, Dra. Lynne Guitar, is named after the co-founder of Guanín, who has financed the education of many Dominicans. Our school is open Monday through Friday from 8 am-4 pm. We provide free education and three meals (breakfast, snack, and lunch) a day to nearly 200 children. We have many dedicated teachers, but we also invite volunteers to teach our students.
